Position Description

We are seeking a bright, energetic and friendly Nurse Practitioner to join Connected Cardiovascular Care Associates (C3), a top-rated cardiovascular health practice in Dallas and Rockwall, Texas. Connected Cardiovascular Care Associates (C3) is a leading cardiovascular practice led by Dr. Tony Das, a nationally recognized  Interventional Cardiologist. We specialize in all aspects of cardiovascular care including coronary, vascular , structural, heart failure , electrophysiology and preventive cardiology. Our team includes Dr. Imran Baig, Interventional and Structural Cardiologist, Dr. Nicholas C. Macpherson, cardiovascular imaging and heart failure specialist, Dr. Azizul Rehman, Interventional Cardiologist, Dr. Ken Johnson, Interventional Cardiologist, Dr. Syed Saad, Electrophysiologist, and Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner Victoria Skobel. Our cardiologists have the following expertise: preventative counseling, coronary, vascular, and valvular diseases, minimally invasive catheter-based procedures, complex coronary interventions, TAVR, TAVI, Amulet, Watchman, MitraClip therapy, Second Opinion Clinic, and more.

Position Summary:

  • Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5pm, Friday 8:30am-3pm.
  • Hospital rounding at Dallas, Rockwall, and Rowlett area facilities. 
  • Shared after-hours call every one in five weeks (call shared with supervising physician).

  • Five (5) years of Cardiovascular experience required.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrates excellence in the completion of patient history and physical exams and assessments appropriate to patient population.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in charting of the history and physical and other notes on patient status in EMR.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients, and maintain regular communication with patients, families, primary care physicians and specialists as appropriate regarding progress and treatment plans.
  • Excellent clinical, interpersonal, organizational skills and good team player.
  • Ability to work independently is required.
  • Primarily a clinic based job. Hospital rounding will be required on a small inpatient census. 

 Education and Experience:

  • Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Valid Texas license and be in good standing at all times.
  • Controlled Substance Registration and Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification.
