Dear PAPN Texas Members,
We are writing to inform you that updates have been made to the PAPN Texas bylaws. These changes reflect the evolving structure and needs of our organization and were made with thoughtful consideration by the board.
We invite all members to review the proposed bylaw updates in detail and prepare to cast your vote for acceptance or rejection starting June 1.
Summary of Major Changes:

Removal of reference to the “annual meeting,” which is no longer held.

Change in the President's term from a 2-year to a 1-year term, resulting in a 3-year leadership commitment: President-Elect, President, and Past President.

Merger of the President-Elect and Vice President roles into one position.

Elimination of the six Regional Directors, replaced with four Directors-at-Large not tied to geographic regions.

Adjustment of the fiscal year from July 1 to September 1.
