Hello colleagues,

Suicide prevention is a critical public health priority, and as psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioners, we are uniquely positioned to recognize warning signs, intervene early, and promote hope and healing.

PAPN Texas is proud to help promote the 2025 Texas Suicide Prevention Symposium, a free virtual event taking place on Wednesday, October 1 and Thursday, October 2. This important symposium is hosted by the Texas Suicide Prevention Collaborative and features leading experts, researchers, and advocates from across the state and nation.

Attendees will gain valuable insights into current trends in suicide prevention, innovative strategies for clinical practice, and tools for supporting patients, families, and communities. The agenda features keynote speakers, panel discussions, and practical resources specifically designed for nurses and behavioral health professionals.

We encourage all members to attend and share this opportunity with colleagues across disciplines.
